I had a great time at SSTH. Great school, professionally led, international, flair and super teaching staff. Nevertheless, you are not a "finished" hotelier after graduation. The process takes years and experience comes with the operative.
My recommendation to the current students:
Be open to learn new things every day and network with colleagues from all over the world. Even today, I can still exploit valuable synergies, for example in the case of short-term personnel requirements.
