1. Calanda

Restaurant Calanda is number one restaurant recommended by the EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality (EHL SSTH) students. Situated near the Old Town of Chur, Calanda has a mix menu with salads, soups, wok, wraps, pasta and more. On Sundays, it offers an option of an assorted brunch but make sure you have reserved a table because it is fully packed most of the time.

Students' all-time favourite: Chicken-Express (carving done at the table, ideally for 2 persons).

2. Va Bene

Va Bene really stands out with its modern and trendy look. It offers great options for all kinds of delicious meals. Va Bene is classified as an upscale modern European fine dining restaurant with a leading wine list and seasonal offerings. It is a classic style dining area so make sure to reserve your table before you go there.

3. Malteser Thai Haus

Malteser Thai Haus is well-known for its Asian taste and Thai food specialties; it offers a varied menu with meat, vegetarian and vegan products. People have the choice of how spicy they want the dish to be. It is the to-go place for a quick bite after school. Students absolutely love this petit restaurant.

4. Jamies

Jamies is a modern restaurant and a pub, which serves different cocktails with a section of finger food. Weekends are usually crowded and packed with people who want to party. It serves different types of Flammkuchen (Flame Pastry) which is a traditional dish near the German-French border. It is composed of bread dough rolled out very thinly, which is covered with fromage blanc or crème fraîche, thinly sliced onions and lardons.

5. No Name

No Name is as interesting as its name. It is a trendy and a happening restaurant with a bar inside. It offers Burgers, Pastas, Flammkuchen, all of which are available in Vegan style too. No Name is contemporary and groovy in its own way.
